Prof Bimal K Bose, '56EE donated INR 2.25 lakhs to BESUS Foundation to initiate “Professor Bimal Bose Distinguished Lecture” in Electrical Engineering Department, BESU. Dr. Bose is a Life Fellow, IEEE and Condra Chair of Excellence/Emeritus in Power Electronics, Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Tennessee, USA.
This award will enable BESU Electrical Engineering Department to invite a distinguished professional in electrical engineering (with emphasis on power electronics) to deliver a lecture at BESU. Invited distinguished professional will be provided an honorarium and travel support. The first Lecture is expected to be organized in early 2010.
