Subject: Alumni Fellowship for Excellence and Scholarship Announcement 2009-10
Dear Prof. Ray,
GAABESU is very happy to continue “Alumni Fellowship for Excellence” under its Scholarship Programme.
Similar to previous years, under the “need cum merit” oriented Scholarship programme, GAABESU is hereby announcing 77 scholarships of Rs 12,000/- each. Additionally, GAABESU will provide 5 Book Grants of Rs. 2,000/- each. 8 Admission Grants of total Rs. 50,000/- have already been announced and an additional Rs. 54,000/- is available for this/next academic year. Please note the of the above amounts, Rs. 74,500/- is being awarded from a total corpus fund of Rs 8,40,000/- available with GAABESU for the purpose of 5 perpetual alumni scholarships.
The remainder of the funds were donated to GAABESU from various individuals and groups whose names will soon be made available on the website. The total committed amount to the students of BESU for the academic year 2009-10 is Rs. 11,12,500/- (Rupees Eleven Lakh Twelve Thousand and Five Hundred only). The amount might increase as & when other sponsors join this programme.
Kindly note that “Alumni Fellowship for Excellence” and “Scholarship Process” documents are duly approved by GAABESU Executive Committee and published in the GAABESU website. (for reference, the links are given below)
